What Is A Baby Bank?

We are like a foodbank, giving out bundles of essential items to people who need them in our community. We support people who are pregnant or looking after young children up to the age of 12. We provide free (mostly pre-loved) baby and child equipment and supplies, including clothing, nappies, prams, cots and bedding and safety equipment such as highchairs and stair gates - pretty much anything! We can help families who are experiencing poverty or hardship, are displaced or in temporary housing, or are struggling due to physical or mental health difficulties.

We support a lot of families expecting a baby, but we are happy to help families with young children of any age up to age 12. Where we can, we also like to add a few essentials for parents and older siblings, too. We like to think of how our support can help the whole family, not just the child in question ​- every family is different and every family matters.

We are entirely volunteer-run and the vast majority of the things we give out have been donated from the general public. Without you, our community, we wouldn’t exist. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
